Has it always bothered you that after a session on the water, with tired hands, you have to unscrew the universal joint from the board just so it fits in the bag? Specifically to solve this problem, the iBASE 2.0 has been equipped with a useful quick-release function, which lets you remove the joint by simply pulling a sand-resistant, stainless steel U-pin. Without using any tools you can, in a few seconds, swap the classic rubber joint (Powerjoint) for our revolutionary iTENDON, depending on your preference. An additional advantage of this solution is that if you have a spare joint or tendon, you're immediately ready to get back on the water in case of a failure - without needing to troublesomely repair the whole component.

THE PERMA LOCK OPTION. For people who put safety first, the release button can now be locked with a screw, permanently disabling the quick-release function.

A SOLUTION FOR WHEN IT GETS STUCK. If the iBASE 2.0 ever "seizes up" on the board after being stored for a long time, two special holes now let you use a screwdriver as a lever, making it easy to unscrew the base.

A LOW PROFILE. So that the iBASE 2.0 could be mounted and removed without tools, we chose a construction with a central screw. While such solutions are usually relatively tall, our engineers found a way to make the iBASE 2.0 the lowest base of its kind - close the gap between the board and the sail!

A TWO-PHASE PAD. The exclusive pad is manufactured using a two-phase injection process. The top side is made from low-friction PVC material, which effectively reduces the force needed to firmly tighten the base to the board. The bottom side is coated with a special rubber blend, which prevents the mast base from sliding on the deck.
