The Duotone Ultra Grip Quad 2026 is an advanced wave board with a quad-fin fin setup, designed to combine stability and drive with dynamic maneuverability across a wide spectrum of conditions, from solid ground-swell to stronger windy Euro wave conditions. Its shape is the result of work with our proprietary AI_BOARD_3D software, which lets us synchronize the curves of the outline, rocker and rails (the so-called SYNCED CURVES CONCEPT) - this makes the board behave more predictably and respond instantly during bottom and top turns.
FULL CUSTOM PVC-WOOD technology, used in the construction of the Ultra Grip Quad 2026, involves CNC-milling every EPS core and adding wood reinforcements, providing a very good weight-to-strength ratio and high manufacturing quality, while also making the board more affordable than models built from the most expensive materials.
The board's shape was designed to offer stability comparable to a board around 5 l bigger while drifting and riding through whitewater, while still keeping the aggressive response and maneuverability of a board 5 l smaller on the wave. This gives a wide range of use - from fast, steep turns on ground-swell, through confident exits from maneuvers, to precise trim control in strong side/side-off conditions.
The quad-fin setup adds grip and control at higher speeds and in stronger wave force, which lets the board handle dynamic turn sequences excellently, and technologies such as Plug & Shred allow for light and precise adjustment of fin position with no significant added weight.
In summary, the Ultra Grip Quad 2026 is a board with a versatile wave character that combines stability, control, dynamic maneuverability and high build quality, ideal for riders sailing in strong and changing conditions and those who want to get the most out of wave riding.
