North 2026 Prime Kite Board

North Prime 2026 is much more than a "first board". It's an extremely versatile freeride twin-tip that performs in every condition - from flat water to chop - and lets you make real progress on the water faster. Comfortable, predictable and very easy to handle, the Prime combines a forgiving character with performance that will stay with you well after your skills clearly improve.

The Prime 2026 was designed for riders who want to ride comfortably, get upwind quickly and learn jumps without stress. Quick planing and smooth handling through chop are provided by a Progressive Single Concave - deepest at the center and shallower toward the tips. This lets the board plane easily, cut through the water smoothly without splashing, and stay stable at higher speeds.

A rounded outline makes controlled edging easier and makes the Prime very predictable - ideal for learning to go upwind, first jumps and longer sessions without fatigue. A soft, forgiving flex effectively absorbs impacts and gives soft, confident landings, offering plenty of comfort and confidence.

A Composite construction based on a lightweight paulownia wood core and fiberglass laminates provides durability, a consistent flex and a pleasant feel underfoot. An additional advantage is the integrated grab rail indent, which makes board-offs and grabbing the board in the air easier.

The FlipTech Mounting system lets you extend the board's lifespan - once one edge wears out, simply flip the bindings and enjoy a "new" heelside edge. The Prime 2026 is the ideal board for people who want to ride more often, longer and with more fun, while steadily raising their freeride level.

Lightweight minimalist design

We balanced simplicity and support with a single strap and buckle, and optimized the footbed's thickness and firmness for comfortable riding.

Instant mounting with maximum adjustability

The intuitive Flex connection system uses standard M6x16mm screws to mount the binding on the board in different positions, allowing easy stance adjustment for all riders.

Comfort with a secure hold, even when wet

Lightweight, durable and shock-absorbing, with a raised grip pattern for extra comfort. Its forward-angled anti-slip pattern direction helps keep the foot in place at various angles. The shock-absorbing footbed is ergonomically positioned to support optimized body weight distribution and knee alignment, providing support for the muscles and core while reducing pressure on the feet, knees, hips and back.

Closed, seamless KnitFlex top strap

Our unique seamless KnitFlex lining material is stretched and laminated to a flexible foam that conforms to the interior, letting it form a 3D curve without any wrinkling or creasing, and the lack of seams eliminates the risk of chafing on the foot.

Extended side arch support

The arch supports are extended inside the strap to provide comfort where the top strap meets the footbed, protecting the foot from the stiffest, load-bearing part of the binding.

FlipTech Mounting

The Flex bindings are compatible both with FlipTech boards and with offline board mounting systems. The "2" marking on the Flex refers to boards with flip-tech technology and is the recommended setting for a duck stance at a 15/-15 degree angle.
