Description

The new Omnia is a completely new shape designed from the ground up. It's a classic freewave board that combines fast and dynamic freeride performance with exceptional wave capabilities. The design is based on a collaboration with our team of riders, which started in 2021. The riders wanted a board that was extremely fast, yet gave full control in demanding jumping conditions like those in Pozo. They also needed grip and speed for tight turns in windy wave conditions.

To achieve this, we developed a new rocker with an additional curve from the front footstrap area to the front of the mast rail,
but at the same time with an extremely fast tail. We combined it with a new vee profile - flattened in the middle, but with a progressive deepening towards both the bow and the tail. Particularly in the front part of the board we used a combination of vee and double concave. The flat tail rocker provides high stability at high speeds, the low middle vee adds pop and agility to the board, and the double concave in the front part acts as a shock absorber, making the Omnia excellent at cutting through rippled water.

When developing the new Simmer Freewave board, we were inspired by the enthusiastic feedback from our team about the combination of speed
and control that this bottom profile provides. After several iterations, we created an outline with a swallow tail, a relatively wide and stable bow and a curve distribution that keeps the tail relatively straight for better grip. Interestingly, the development went in the opposite direction than usual - the shape that was created for series production was then adapted for the 75-litre Pro version, which also became part of the production line and is equipped with five fin boxes. The remaining models in the series use the same bottom profile, with the larger sizes having slightly fuller sides. Except for the 75L version, all sizes feature a central Powerbox and side slotboxes
in a thruster configuration.

The Omnia replaces the Helix, offering a faster, more agile ride with better performance in waves, while also being more fun and exciting when riding at full speed.

The name Omnia means “catch everything”, which perfectly describes the characteristics of this board.

  and more dynamic turns, even in less than ideal wave conditions. It works perfectly in both single and

• Bottom profile
  
  The new vee profile is flattened in the middle and deepens towards both the bow and stern. Especially in the front part of the board, the vee has been combined with a double concave.   The double footstrap inserts provide maximum support and adjust the width of the setup to your individual preferences – from 14.5cm to 15.5cm for the front straps and from 14cm to 15cm for the rear strap.
  
  The Omnia 75, 86, 96, 106 and 116 models feature dual central inserts + single rear footstrap inserts for freeride options.
  
  
  
• Dual Density EVA Pads
  
  Dual Density EVA Pads – 4mm high density top layer with diamond pattern and embossed dots for maximum grip. The new pads also feature an 8mm soft core under the heel for ultimate comfort while riding, and a tail kick for added support.
  
  
  
• THRUSTER Fin Configuration
  
  In the Tri-fin (thruster) setup, the Omnia combines an ultra-fast freewave rocker with improved turning characteristics thanks to a shorter center fin. This configuration increases the board's versatility towards wave performance, while maintaining the classic ease and maneuverability of a freewave board in simple tacking. The tri-fin also lowers the board's nose, providing better control in rippled water. With a shortened center fin, the board offers a more controlled and stable ride in windy conditions.

• Self-adjusting GORETEX vent © AIRVENT
  
  The Flywave comes standard with a self-adjusting Goretex vent ©, which allows air to flow between the foam core and the board's exterior while remaining completely waterproof. The double-layer Goretex membrane on both sides of the rubber O-ring prevents pressure build-up inside the board, minimizing the risk of delamination caused by overpressure inside the board even while flying. You'll never have to unscrew the air bleed screw again.
  
  
  
• SINGLE FIN SETUP
  
  In the single fin setup, the Omnia becomes an ultra-fast and stable freewave board, maximizing early planing, edge-on ability, and straight-line speed. Its dynamic outline and slim hull shape provide excellent maneuverability during gybes and smooth and precise turns, making it equally capable during transitions to wave riding.
