Armstrong Midlength Mk II X-Form - maximum performance in light wind and a new generation construction

The Armstrong Midlength Mk II X-Form is the second generation of the popular midlength board, designed for riders who expect earlier foil takeoff, more glide and maximum efficiency in light wind. The model debuts with an entirely new X-Form technology, providing lower weight, higher stiffness and exceptional durability while keeping the direct foil feel Armstrong is known for.

Characteristics

The Midlength Mk II has been completely redesigned - from the hull shape to the construction. A sleeker board profile improves foil contact and reduces drag on touchdowns, so the board returns to flight faster and stays smooth even in tougher conditions.

A new volume distribution increases stability during starts while retaining dynamic handling. An elongated outline makes it easier to accelerate and get onto the foil earlier, which will especially be appreciated by riders in light wind or those using Foil Drive.

The bottom of the hull was refined to reduce the board sticking to the water's surface. A surf-style squash tail improves pop efficiency, makes starting easier and increases stability while accelerating.

The Forward Geometry Foil Tracks system moves the foil's position more centrally relative to the rider. This reduces swing weight, improves maneuverability and provides a more natural feel during flight, while keeping compatibility with practically any foil system.

The new X-Form Precision Molded Construction technology uses a precisely molded construction with full PVC wrapping, an ultralight EPS core, a double sandwich in the foot area and dual carbon stringers. The result is very high stiffness, damage resistance and an exceptionally favorable strength-to-weight ratio.
