The Skybird D/LAB is a revolutionary new model in Duotone's lineup, featuring our most advanced construction to date: Hollow Shell Composite. This innovative, ultralight and stiff construction sets a new performance standard in freeride, freefly and parawing disciplines.
Thanks to the Hollow Shell Composite construction, the Skybird D/LAB weighs over 30% less than its SLS equivalent. The result is the lowest possible swing weight, giving a feel close to a prone board, while still keeping the volume and buoyancy needed for versatile riding.
The board keeps the proven Skybird SLS shape, with a slightly longer and narrower outline for a better glide and an earlier start. The new diamond tail, combined with a wide, stable deck and clearly beveled rails, increases clearance and agility, providing smooth and stable transitions in every session.
A lowered deck provides a direct connection to the foil, maximizing control and responsiveness. Extended carbon foil rails offer a wide range of adjustment for different setups, and an integrated air valve and drain plug allow for pressure relief and optimal care during storage.
Available in the 5'7" x 20.5" (70 l) size, the Skybird D/LAB is aimed at riders looking for the highest level of innovation and ready to push the limits in light wind during freeride, dynamic freefly, small-wave riding or downwind parawing.
