As a medium-sized model it offers the ideal balance, providing the fast acceleration typical of high-aspect inflatable foilboards along with the stability and smooth handling typical of a classic, compact foilboard shape.

COMPOSITE-LEVEL PERFORMANCE, NOW IN AN INFLATABLE VERSION
Building on our experience with composite constructions, the Above Air Foil offers top-level performance in inflatable form, with no compromises. Ideal for beginners and intermediates. The parallel mid-section provides early planing, stable balance and predictable flight, while Rail Edge technology reduces drag and allows for a cleaner lift-off from the water. The V nose shape speeds up starts and smooths landings, and the optimized EVA plug reduces drag generated by the foil. All the refined features of composite boards are packed into a compact, travel-friendly solution.

A NEW, IMPROVED CARBON PLATE
Redesigned so that mounting the foil is faster and simpler thanks to fixed nuts and bolts, exactly like in composite boards. The plate is now 2 cm longer, giving more room to stand and making for smoother starts, and a sealed EVA cap prevents water from getting into the plug area.

A DELUXE LITE CONSTRUCTION
The lightest inflatable construction from Starboard. It allows for earlier starts, faster flight and sailing in lighter wind, and also lets you save energy on every paddle stroke and pump.

6'0" 95L - At 95 liters, the smallest model was built for advanced or lighter riders. A 21-inch width makes for a quick lift-off from the water, and the shorter length makes the board remarkably agile in the air.
6'6" 110L - This medium-sized 110-liter variant is meant for a wide range of skill levels. A 22-inch width provides a fast glide and early starts, while still staying smooth through tight turns.
8'2" 135L - The largest in the lineup, with 125 liters of volume, the 6'9" model is ideal for heavier, intermediate-level riders, who benefit from the extra length and width. Lighter riders will also appreciate its stability, and its relatively narrow shape provides a fast start.

Direct Foil Response
Patented Top Plate technology, with just 1.5 cm between your feet and the foil, provides instant feedback and better control; combined with a solid carbon standing plate, it improves the flying feel on an inflatable board, eliminating the sensation of "wobbling".
New Vee Bottom Shape
A unique Vee shape makes starts and landings easier, increasing stability and control while providing smoother transitions in the water.
A PARALLEL MID-SECTION
The middle part of the board stays straight, giving predictable, balanced handling. This improves overall stability and course-holding during a controlled glide into a start.
AN ADJUSTABLE FOIL TRACK
The foil track offers enough range of adjustment to match the foil's position to your riding style and wing type.
A SHARP RAIL EDGE & NEW EVA PLUG
A three-dimensional Rail Edge improves the pre-start glide, and the EVA Plug seals the foil mount, providing cleaner water flow. Together they reduce drag and increase acceleration, allowing for faster and more efficient starts on an inflatable foilboard.
Adjustable Footstraps Included
An 18 cm insert spacing allows for a wider strap setup for better trim and control, with the ability to fine-tune foot position; 4 positions are available at the front and 5 at the back.
Leash, pump and bag
Included: a coiled leash, a Tiki pump with a double-ended nozzle for the board and the wing, and a wheeled travel bag that fits a complete wing foil setup
Welded Rail Technology
Provides completely sealed, mechanically joined seams with no risk of the glue weakening over time, resulting in greater strength and a longer lifespan for Starboard's inflatable boards
