The Starboard Take Off Air is an innovative, inflatable foilboard with a compact outline and high performance, combining easy transport with direct control over the foil, an earlier lift-off and stable handling thanks to a reinforced standing plate and an optimized V-nose shape.

An improved carbon plate. The Take Off Air Foil model introduces an improved carbon plate, increasing usability and stability. New slots allow for faster and easier foil mounting, securing the nuts and bolts just like in composite boards. The plate has been extended by 2 cm, enlarging the standing area for better balance and easier starts, and a redesigned EVA cap eliminates open slots on the deck, preventing water from getting into the inserts.

5'4" 81L - The second-smallest board in this series remains very agile, while also being easier to use thanks to its greater width, which provides a more stable standing start position.
5'9" 116L - For riders who want an agile board that still feels stable before lift-off, the 5'9" model is the ideal choice; its length provides enough planing for a comfortable start, and its compact size guarantees easy maneuverability once moving, while the 116 L volume gives enough buoyancy to comfortably start from a standing position.

6'7" 136L - Our designers' favorite model, the Take Off 55 L combines a balance between speed and stability, providing efficient starts and smooth pop - ideal for a wide range of riders

Features:

Direct Foil Response
Patented Top Plate technology, with just 1.5 cm between your feet and the foil, provides a direct feel and better control. Combined with a solid plate under the feet, it improves the flying feel on an inflatable foilboard, eliminating the sensation of "floating".
Curved Rocker
A raised rocker at the nose and tail makes starting easier and gives more forgiving landings.
Compact Outline
The Take Off Air Foil, inspired by the composite Take Off, has a balanced, wide and short outline, ideal for freestyle foiling and offering good stability before takeoff.
New EVA Plug
A tight-sealing plug closes the foil mounting socket, creating a smooth, flush bottom for the most efficient water flow under the board and around the foil mast.
Adjustable Foil Track
Provides enough range of adjustment for the foil's position depending on riding style and foil type.
Adjustable Footstraps
An 18 cm insert spacing allows for a wider strap setup for better trim and control, with the ability to precisely adjust foot position.
4 footstrap positions are available at the front and 5 at the back.
3D Rail Edge Release Technology
A proprietary 3D elastomer blend, shaped to match the rail, creates an edge that releases water, letting the board fully plane while still folding and rolling up. This makes for the fastest and easiest lift-off among inflatable boards.
Leash, pump and bag
Included: a coiled leash, a Tiki pump with a double-ended nozzle for the board and the wing, and a wheeled travel bag that fits a complete wing foil setup
Welded Rail Technology
Provides completely sealed, mechanically joined seams with no risk of the glue weakening over time, resulting in greater strength and a longer lifespan for Starboard's inflatable boards
