Characteristics

The AK Staple Surfboard Leash is made from high-quality materials resistant to stretching and salt water. The 7 mm diameter cord provides the right balance between strength and elasticity, so it absorbs jolts from falls well without restricting freedom of movement.

The ankle cuff is fitted with an inner silicone layer, which effectively reduces the leash from twisting around the leg and increases comfort while riding. Soft padding prevents chafing even during multi-hour sessions.

A durable Micro Velcro system provides a strong, secure closure, and a practical Pull Release tab allows the leash to be quickly released when needed. Two swivels minimize cord twisting and help keep it running smoothly throughout use.

The leash was designed for everyday surfing in waves from approximately 1 to 6 feet, offering suitable strength both for relaxed sessions and more demanding conditions.
