DEVELOPMENT

The first goal of the Point-7 Black Team when developing a boom is its profile. It is not about having a next-generation profile, as many may call it. It's about the profile that allows your front and rear arms to take a natural, ergonomic position while sailing, automatically setting the sail at the right angle so that the wind can enter and exit the sail. This position changes depending on the wind strength and the windsurfing discipline, so each boom size must be developed accordingly.

Soft and polished non-slip pro handle: Less hand force is needed to have a firm grip on the boom. Double pin for a stiffer connection between the body and the boom nose. Vario tip with 50cm reach. Easy adjustments within 2cm, positioning markings for harness lines. Ergo shape allows you to find the most natural and comfortable position on the board. Front head tilts depending on the height of the mast
but does not tilt sideways. With very little line tension at the head, it does not slip on the mast. Fits perfectly with RDM adapters. From size 180 to 200, the boom nok offers a pulley system for a perfect fit of the adjustable outhaul system.
