The Sabfoil Blackbird Balz Pro 905 is a competition-level hydrofoil set developed in collaboration with Balz Muller, designed for riders who expect maximum precision, high speed and full control during freestyle, freeride and wave riding. Thanks to Blackbird technology and the new-generation Balz Pro wings, the set offers exceptionally smooth carving, very fast acceleration and an impressive range of use.

Characteristics

The most important part of the set is the front wing, the Balz Pro 905, which provides an excellent compromise between early takeoff, high speed and maneuverability. Its larger surface area compared to the 805 model makes it easier to get onto the foil and improves control at lower speeds, while keeping a sporty character and a very wide range of use.

The new wing geometry lets you maintain high speed while carving and making dynamic direction changes, offering remarkably smooth handling and great control in any conditions.

The stiffness of the whole setup comes from the Blackbird platform, which uses a carbon mast, a Full Carbon Monobloc fuselage and an integrated construction that minimizes flex. This means the energy generated by the rider is transferred instantly to the foil, translating into very precise steering and exceptional responsiveness.

The carbon M85 Blackbird mast, 85 cm long, provides excellent control while riding bigger waves and allows for deeper carves without risking the wing breaching the surface. Combined with the Progressive 370 stabilizer, it forms a set offering an ideal balance between stability, maneuverability and speed.
