The Lodestone Leash with Manual Quick Release Belt is a complete SUP safety system that combines two mechanisms:

1. Automatic release (Lodestone technology)

  • a magnetic system keeps the connection to the board
  • it releases itself automatically under dangerous tension (~200 N)
  • works without any user action - instantly and reliably

effect: you never get 'trapped' in the water

2. Manual quick release belt (safety belt)

  • worn around the hips (instead of an ankle leash)
  • allows for manual release with a single motion
  • used as a standard in difficult conditions (rivers, whitewater)
