The Armstrong Performance Mk II Carbon Mast is the most versatile performance mast in the Armstrong lineup, designed for riders who expect maximum stiffness, precise handling and confidence at high speeds. It's an evolution of the legendary PM Mk I, offering even better responsiveness and a more direct foil feel.

Characteristics

A new 13.8 mm-thick profile and an optimized chord provide a very good balance between low hydrodynamic drag and exceptional construction stiffness. In practice, this translates into more precise steering, greater control during dynamic riding and stable behavior under heavy load.

Compared to the previous generation, the Performance Mk II offers about 30% greater bending stiffness and 20% greater torsional stiffness. This lets the mast respond faster, gives a more "locked-in feel" and works better with modern, larger-span foils.

The advanced high modulus carbon layup was developed over more than three years of testing and construction optimization. The result is a very direct foil feel without losing smoothness while carving, pumping or riding fast downwind.

The Performance Mk II uses the Armstrong A+ System, providing a stiff, smooth connection between all the foil set's components.
