Armstrong Performance-X Carbon Mast

The Armstrong Performance-X Carbon Mast is the most advanced carbon mast in the Armstrong lineup, built for riders who expect maximum hydrodynamic efficiency. Thanks to its ultra-thin profile and an ultra high modulus carbon construction, it offers exceptionally low drag, higher speed and a very smooth, "loose" feel while riding.

Characteristics

A profile just 12 mm thick and a narrow 106 mm chord minimize drag in the water, translating into noticeably better glide, higher speed and looser, more dynamic turns. The mast was designed to retain control and predictability despite its extremely slim construction.

Using ultra high modulus carbon made it possible to achieve very high stiffness while keeping drag and weight low. In practice, this gives a more direct feel for the foil, faster response and greater efficiency while pumping, downwinding and riding fast.

Compared to classic Performance Carbon masts, the Performance-X model offers even lower drag and a looser feel in turns, especially noticeable at high speeds and in advanced carving.

The mast uses the Armstrong A+ System, providing a very stiff, smooth connection between all the foil set's components.
