The improved North AF (Aluminium Foil) masts from North Foils offer an optimal balance between low weight and increased stiffness, providing reliable performance under heavier loads.

Size selection:

• AF55 - for very shallow waters and training in confined spaces

• AF72 - ideal for kitesurfing

• AF80 - recommended as a starting size for wing foiling

• AF85 - the most versatile mast for every discipline, great in tougher conditions

• AF95 - provides maximum wave clearance, more freedom in turns and more aggressive maneuvers

Longer masts (AF85 / AF95) increase the margin for error when riding down a wave and allow for harder lean angles in tight turns.

GeoLock system - integrated stiffness and reliability

All masts in the AF series use the patented GeoLock system - a tapered connection between the mast and the fuselage, which works like a single, monolithic construction. Why it works: The bolts don't just connect the parts, they activate a geometric lock that allows force transfer across the entire cross-sectional surface. The result? Greater stiffness, better response and confident foil handling - no play, no compromises.

Assembly

Note: North AF masts do not have an integrated mounting plate.
An AF Board Adaptor is needed to attach it to the board - sold separately or included with Sonar AF sets.
