The Futura concept is based on the iSonic DNA, using a fast, moderately narrow, compact shape; ideal for covering long distances or drag racing on your local beach. The width provides wind range and performance. Strong but smooth rails provide power and increase fin control. A thinner profile at the mast rail lowers the center of gravity and increases control. An optimized position for longer, faster runs.
All Futura boards are designed with a double concave that transitions into a flat tail, providing comfort, control and performance. Everything, right where it matters. The Futura lets you increase performance in a more comfortable, accessible and user-friendly package. Save your energy for the fun of sailing instead of fighting the board. • Double step cutaways
  
  Double Step Cutaways are used to reduce friction and increase speed.

 

• Bottom shape
  
  The Futura boards have a more pronounced Vee across the bottom for better control and comfort in chop,
  smoother tails and a livelier ride.
  

 

• Thin rails
  
  The rails are rounder and thinner than on the iSonic.
  Easier to handle in chop. They make turns feel smoother.
  
  

• Drake Slalom DW
  
  Every Futura comes with a Drake Slalom DW fin. These are top-class, Ready to Race fins.
  They get the most out of the Futura. The Slalom DW model combines impressive speed and acceleration with excellent
  jibing abilities.
  
  

• Drake slick footstraps
  
  The Drake Slick straps are made from FSC-certified, sustainably sourced, plant-based
  Yulex foam. Thanks to an 85% natural rubber content, CO2 emissions during production are reduced by 80%.
  The remaining 15% synthetic neoprene is kept to increase UV resistance. Carefully
  sourced with the smoothest fabric for a comfortable feel.
  
   
• Lightweight pads
  
  The Futura boards have pads 6mm thick in the back and 4mm in the front. This combination provides highly
  reactive and comfortable feel while minimizing weight. The thermoformed diamond-groove pattern
  provides grip and comfort during long sessions, while also being wear-resistant.

  Sandwich lamination with 0.6 mm Australian pine on a modern, recyclable 3 mm PET foam provides
  durability and comfort with a good strength-to-weight ratio. Today's wood is less visible in the modern graphics;
  protected from UV radiation by fresh blue paint and stickers that complement the natural grain, giving
