Starboard WindSUP Compact Boom
An improved boom head
The boom head buckle provides a secure, stable fit around the mast, requiring less clamping force. A longer lever means surfers of any age or build can easily close the boom head.
A double-pin boom buckle
Stronger double-pin boom adjustment buckles are secure and durable. The boom tail uses aloop-n-go system - just thread the line through the sail's cringle and hook it on, then pull the end and lock it. Just like on the mast extension, the correct settings for light-wind and strong-wind conditions are clearly marked, making quick, precise adjustment easy
An RDM mast
TheClassic version uses a modern, two-piece, reduced-diameter mast with20% carbon content. To make transport and storage easier, theCompact version is fitted with a four-piece RDM carbon mast. RDM-type masts are more reliable and make the sail work smoothly and feel light on the water.
An RDM extension
The outer lever snaps shut in an instant - the perfect solution for anyone who wants to unhook the rig from the mast base and board without hurting their thumbs. An aluminum RDM extension is included with the Compact and Classic models with4.5,5.5 and6.5 m² areas.
A cleat with a hook
A three-pulley trim hook makes sheeting the mast ridiculously easy. The trim line is factory-attached to the pulley, allowing for even faster, easier rigging - just hook it onto the sail's tack cringle and pull it all the way down hard.
A reinforced sail foot
The lower part of the sail has been reinforced with extra panels, providing exceptional durability in the areas most exposed to strain and damage. An ideal solution for schools, clubs and beginner windsurfers.
A complete windsurfing rig bag
Sails from theSUP Windsurfing series come with a bag whose outer layer is made from RPET 450D material produced from recycled plastic bottles (in partnership with Waste2Wear). The bottles are shredded into flakes, washed, melted and extruded into thread, which is then woven into fabric. Each bag uses between30 to 50 bottles, which are put back into circulation instead of polluting the environment. Ripstop weave technology increases resistance to abrasion and tearing. The SUP Windsurfing Compact version of the bag is only120 cm long.
