For 2026 the S_PACE sail has undergone its biggest update since its introduction in 2020. The changes made significantly improve performance in the upper wind range and ease of handling, while the unique construction principles remain unchanged. At its core is the revolutionary 3 IN 1 DESIGN, which allows for a previously unseen tuning range. Adjusting the S_PACE's trim for low- or high-wind conditions fundamentally changes the sail's character, allowing you to get maximum performance in every condition: whether at V-Max or maximum passive acceleration, the S_PACE is the most versatile cam sail on the market.
The S_PACE combines the top-level performance of the WARP with very balanced handling and a much wider range of use. This is achieved through a heavily reduced, nearly straight luff curve in the upper part of the sail, meaning changes in luff tension have a very large effect on the leech. Low downhaul tension results in a fairly tight leech, while high tension leads to a noticeably loose leech, so the S_PACE shows completely different performance and character in the upper or lower wind range depending on trim. At the MIN setting with a tight leech, the sail is very efficient for pumping and accelerates very effectively, while at the MAX setting it behaves similarly to the WARP, accelerating continuously without limits.
The unique, hexagonal and length-adjustable HYPER CAMS 2.0 let you find an individual "sweet spot" between maximum performance and smooth camber rotation, even at full sail tension. Particularly noticeable is the strongly tapered mast sleeve in the AERO SLEEVE DESIGN 2.0, whose width in the aerodynamically important boom area allows for an optimal transition from the "thick" mast edge to the "thin" sail body. In the upper part of the sail, though, the mast sleeve remains relatively narrow, to allow for quick water starts.
New features in the S_PACE include an increased wind range, which preserves performance in lighter wind and improves it in stronger gusts, a revised volume distribution providing better control and performance in strong wind, an increased CUTAWAY CLEW taken directly from the WARP_FIN, which makes handling easier along with smoother camber rotation, and increased sail twist, giving a sportier feel in all conditions.
