3Di Dyneema Aramid tape material with a Carbon Helix SL load path.
The best sails come from a carefully chosen blend of top-performance materials. That's why we chose to build our 3Di Foil sails from Dyneema Aramid material, with a Carbon Helix SL carbon fiber load path running from the tack to the head, to improve reactivity and responsiveness on flat water. This means wind converts instantly into forward drive with a single flick of the wrist.
Air Cam
Conforms perfectly to the sail's profile, providing better airflow, profile and stability. It's light, since it's made purely of air, which makes tacking easy. Air in the luff pocket also makes water starts easier.
Integrated material reinforcements
Precise use of the right amount of material, placed in the right position, makes the sail significantly lighter and stronger than any other windsurfing sail. This sail's evolution goes even further, resulting in a significant reduction in both actual weight and on-water weight. Light, yet super durable.
Integrated batten pockets, split battens
A 100% seamless, continuous fiber layout, a fully integrated tunnel with room for the battens. In all flat-water sails equipped with air cams, the batten pockets split smoothly from 1 element in the body into 2 elements on either side of the mast sleeve, maximizing performance and flow. Sophisticated material technology with a smart result.
