The North X-Over Gen 2 is a versatile 2026 windsurfing sail designed to combine the power and stability of a wave sail with the lightness and wide freeride range, offering fast planing, predictable handling and versatile performance across a range of water and wind conditions.

Product description:

The X-Over range works great in all conditions. Sizes from 3.7 to 5.8 are extremely light power wave sails, ideal for jumping and aggressive wave riding thanks to their lightness, stable power and speed. Sizes 6.2 and 6.7 are free-move sails, built for flat-water freeride, offering stability, high top speed, a very wide wind range and easy upwind sailing. While the design goals remain the same, the Gen#2 version is a completely new sail with improved profiles, twist and geometry, as well as additional fiber reinforcements in key areas. The result is greater stability, better forward drive, control in strong wind and higher top-end performance. On the water the sail feels lighter in your hands and offers easily accessible power. The monofilm window improves visibility both on the wave and during turns. The sail has a wider optimal trim range for downhaul and outhaul settings, making it easier to find the "sweet spot". Rigging is fast and simple thanks to the EZ Downhaul Wave system in sizes up to 5.8 and EZ Downhaul 2-in-1 in the 6.2 and 6.7 sizes, providing compatibility with RDM and MDM masts. Integrated double-tunnel batten pockets
Between the sail's layers, a special machine-laid tubular material is used to form the batten pocket; this solution is further reinforced with a 3Di overlay on both sides of the sail, creating a "double tunnel" around the batten, so both the sail and the battens withstand the heaviest abuse. Advanced material technology with a clever and durable effect.
Rock-it Batten Tensioner
Tool-free batten tension adjustment, right on the water: just unlock, open, adjust, close, lock and go sailing.
EZ Clew
