The Point7 AC-3 2026 - a full-blooded freerace/slalom sail that, thanks to a slender, aggressive shape, a 3-camber configuration and a light construction, delivers instant speed, an early planing start and great control even in strong wind.
Wind - Freerace / Slalom
Product description:
For riders who want race-level power with no unnecessary fight. The AC-3 is pure slalom tradition - lighter, faster and more aggressive up front. Forget being torn apart by brutal race sails. This sail eliminates unnecessary ballast, keeps the strength and gives you the control to dominate without wasting energy.
Water starts? Effortless. Turns? Precise. Speed? Unlimited. Shift into top gear and hold it for hours, pulling ahead while everyone else is busy catching their breath. Why waste energy on full-blooded race sails when the AC-3 delivers the same wild performance with no compromises?
This isn't easier. This is smarter. This is faster. This is Point-7.
Type: Slalom / Freerace
- "POWER SIDE"
The deepest part of the profile is located on the leeward side. It's measured as depth (how "thick" the sail is) and position (how far forward or back it's shifted). It's the profile that generates the sail's power and lift.
The AC-3 features a deep, stable profile that provides maximum stability through every change in wind direction. The deepest point sits exactly where the rider stands, so drive is transferred perfectly to both hands and straight to the harness. The result? A stance that provides balance, stability and lightness, letting you load the sail without risking a wipeout. Power is present, but working for you, not against you. -
"SPEED SIDE"
The overall aerodynamic shape of the sail as seen in cross-section. It includes the windward side (flatter) and the leeward side (more curved). When we talk about "sail profile", we mean the overall curve created by the panels and battens.
The AC-3 makes the construction flatter and lighter, so the sail feels nimble and free. This lets the board lift and glide with almost no effort from the rider, and speed and acceleration become something natural. The sail disappears in your hands, leaving only lift and glide. The feeling is simple: the board wants to fly, and you just enjoy the ride.
