Performance:

"POWER SIDE"
The deepest part of the profile is located on the leeward side. It's measured as depth (how "thick" the sail is) and position (how far forward or back it's shifted). It's the profile that generates the sail's power and lift.

The RUSH-1 has a shallow, wide Dacron profile that opens up instantly at the first gust, supported by a softer luff shape that breathes effortlessly. The width of the Dacron provides maximum stability through every shift in the wind.
Draft sits exactly where you stand, delivering power straight to your hands and harness, creating a balanced, forgiving and natural stance.
Power and stability are built in - you simply enjoy the luxury of freeslalom speed.
"SPEED SIDE"
The overall aerodynamic shape of the sail as seen in cross-section. It includes the windward side (flatter) and the leeward side (more curved). When we talk about "sail profile", we mean the overall curve created by the panels and battens.

The RUSH-1 has a flatter, lighter shape than the AC-0, delivering a distinctly free-flowing feel while sailing, which lets the board lift and glide almost effortlessly. Speed and acceleration become natural, easy and forgiving, while the sail itself disappears in your hands, leaving only lift and glide. Where other sails need a bigger size, the RUSH-1 lets you fly even in the lightest wind. It's an amazing feeling: the board wants to lift, and you just enjoy the ride.
