Description:

The S-1 is a high-quality 4-batten wave sail. The reduced batten count makes the sail light, flexible and responsive.
The S-1 has more emphasis on the back hand than the Blade, so there's always a bit of power available to pull off maneuvers on the waves.

The thicker top construction on the latest generation S-1 opens up more under load, increasing the performance range, better control and wind range. The aspect ratio has been reduced in the smaller sizes to reduce flutter. Combined with a thicker top, the area distribution is more pronounced.

The 2025 S-1 uses XFusion technology - ultrasonic welding of the panels near the foot, eliminating the need for seams. Lighter, more responsive and with no seams to wear out. XFusion is an evolution of the CarbonFusion technology used in the PRO sails, brought down to more accessible models.


Both the S-1 and the S-1 Pro were developed on an identical base. The PRO construction offers the best feel, while the S-1 offers dynamic performance in a more affordable construction/technology.

Both constructions use GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY to logically reduce weight, increase durability and control stretch. Direct power transfer and increased durability.

The S-1 model uses high-quality materials, including VX2, SpiderFibre and eM4. The S-1 Pro model is made from CARBON FUSION material.

The S-1 is a maneuver-oriented wave sail that performs well on waves from knee-high up to as big as you can handle.
