The HGO is the first sail of its kind. A foiling race sail built specifically for the official IQFOIL class, and it will be the official sail at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The HGO is based on Severne's already-proven foil platform, which has won numerous titles.

In 2019 World Sailing announced sea trials to select equipment for the next Paris 2024 Olympic Games. When that opportunity arose, Gonzalo Costa Hoevel took the lead on the project together with Ben Severne, creating a foiling race sail. Countless hours of research, development and brainstorming resulted in a sail that will not only increase your speed on the racecourse but will also let you reach maximum speeds.

The HGO focuses on speed and ease of handling thanks to a reduced luff curve and a new shaping layout. The control this provides lets any foiling beginner reach race-level speeds in a short time.
