HYPER 7 _FOIL RACE

"HyperGlide" is now "Hyper". This change symbolizes the progression from the early days of foil sail development to the creation of sails that earn places on the
podium.

The results are clear. Riding the HyperGlide, Team Severne won the following titles in 2023: PWA Mens Slalom World Champion,
PWA Mens Vice World Champion and PWA Womens Slalom World Champion.

The Hyper's legacy is clear; it has won numerous national, continental and world titles over the years, as well as providing the foundation for the current Olympic racing program.

The Hyper 7's entry profiles are flatter and deepen as the sail is moved back. This solution provides more glide and a slippery feel in flight. The low-drag configuration is enhanced by a more open area just above the boom. Overall, this also generates
less downforce on the board. More stability means more speed.

The power delivery is neutral and intuitive, working with you in a wider wind range, enhanced by the Xtended Range design. The benefit is a much smoother ride, but the Hyper 7 will react immediately to ensure a race win. Fly first class.

Can I use Hyper 7 as a fin sail?
The Hyper 7 is specifically designed for foil slalom and is therefore not recommended for use as a windsurfing sail in the fin.
Is the Hyper 7 rigged on RDM or SDM masts?
The Hyper 7 4.0 and 5.0 are rigged on RDM masts.
The Hyper 6.0 - 9.0 are rigged on SDM masts.
How much downhaul should I use in the Hyper 7?
Follow the recommended settings before changing settings.
What is the difference between the Mach 7 and the Hyper 7?
The Mach 7 is a foil-compatible slalom sail. The Hyper 7 is a slalom sail designed exclusively for foiling.
ARE THE SMALLER SIZES SUPPLIED WITH SDM OR RDM CAMBER BOARDS?
Yes, the Hyper 7 4.0 and 5.0 are mounted on RDM masts, so they are supplied with RDM camber BOARDS.
CAN I USE MASTS OTHER THAN SEVERNE IN MY SAILS?
All of our development, testing, rigging and trimming is done using Severne masts. We do not test the performance or bend curves of other masts and cannot guarantee what performance or durability you will get from a sail using another brand of mast. That is why we strongly recommend our customers to use SEVERNE masts.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HYPER 7 AND FOILGLIDE?
HYPER 7 is a racing sail, FoilGlide is a freeride sail.
HYPER 7 has higher top speeds.
HYPER 7 is heavier.
