S1 _Manoeuvre oriented wave

The S-1 is a high-quality 4-batten wave sail. The reduced number of battens makes the sail light, flexible and responsive. The S-1 has more backhand pressure than the Blade, so there is always some power to perform maneuvers in the waves.

Both the S-1 and S-1 Pro have been developed on an identical basis. The PRO design offers the best feel, while the S-1 offers dynamic performance in a more affordable design/technology.

Both designs use GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY to logically reduce weight, increase strength and control stretch. Direct power transfer and increased durability.

The S-1 uses high-quality materials, including VX2, SpiderFibre and eM4. The S-1 Pro is made of CARBON FUSION material.

The S-1 is a maneuver-oriented wave sail that will perform well in waves from knee height to as big as possible.

What's new in the 024 S-1?

The 023 S-1 sails feature GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY, as well as using high-end materials such as VX2 and EM4.

What is the difference between the S-1 and the S-1 Pro?

The S-1 Pro uses CarbonFusion technology and is built with carbon fiber laminates.
The S-1 is less expensive than the S-1 Pro.

Can I rig the S-1 on an SDM mast?

No, the S-1 is designed for RDM masts.

What is the difference between Blade and S-1?

S1 is more maneuver-oriented, which means it has more power at the back. This makes it easier to ride waves and perform various maneuvers on them, for example
wave 360.
Blade is more neutral with more power in the front of the sail, which gives much more control both when riding and jumping.

Does the S-1 change characteristics depending on size?

GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY

With the new GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY the improvements are obvious. Less weight and better stability.

Thanks to the new GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY. The corners have overlapping panels, which reduces the number of layers. At the same time, these overlapping areas extend into the sail, making the sail better at carrying loads, less stretchable over a longer period of time. This is a more stable way of constructing sails.

GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY logically reduces weight, increases strength and controls stretching. Overall weight is reduced, but the more significant improvement is the feel - it's more responsive and feels lighter.

Instead of one curved luff, we use separate panels - the split luff - that radiate from the head and clew. This perfectly aligns the sail material with its load directions.

Previously, a curved panel would tend to stretch in all the wrong places. Direct power transfer. Increased durability.
