Derived from the Mach slalom sail series, the NCX utilizes design concepts that maximize speed, power, and stability with the ease of a no-cam sail:

/ XR (Xtended Range) has been developed to increase the wind range in both the lower and upper ranges: deeper, stronger profiles provide more control and stability.

/ Open leech. The twist has been taken directly from the latest World Cup models.

/ Geometry. Longer boom provides more backhand pressure and results in better acceleration.

What mast should I use with NCX?

RDM RED - for highest performance.
RDM BLUE - high performance and increased reliability.

NCX is recommended for use on RDM masts up to 7.0. Larger sizes may perform better on SDM masts.

CANNOT RIG THE NCX ON SDM MASTS?

Yes, all sizes of the NCX can be rigged on SDM masts.

CANNOT RIG THE NCX ON SDM MASTS?

All of our design, testing, rigging and trimming is done using Severne masts. We highly recommend that our customers use SEVERNE masts.
Our masts are designed with a specific Severne bend curve, which remains one of the pillars of our rigs.

We do not test the performance or bend curves of other masts, so we cannot guarantee the performance or durability of the sail using another brand of mast.

We describe the curvature of our mast as the Severne curve. Constat curve, hardtop or flex top described by mast brands are based on measurements at 3 points. We measure our masts at a minimum of 7 points.

WHICH BOOM SHOULD I USE WITH NCX?

Any sail size can be rigged on a boom starting at 160.
