The Simmer Blacktip Pro 2026 is an ultralight, highly responsive wave sail from Simmer Style, designed to give maximum maneuverability and power with minimum effort - ideal for aggressive wave riding.

The Blacktip Pro 26/27 builds its performance directly on the Team Carbon construction and has been redesigned to provide light, powerful handling and instant response in all wave conditions. Marc Paré's development goal was clear: create a top-performance sail that's also maximally easy to use, combining ultralight handling with an exceptionally durable build.
The luff curve has been redesigned so the sail is more forgiving and easier to handle, providing a smoother, more stable feel in your hands. To further improve responsiveness, we developed a new laminated scrim - VX-Ply, which combines vertically aligned fibers with an X-Grid mesh for maximum durability. VX-Ply stretches significantly less, providing optimal load distribution across the whole sail surface.
The Blacktip Pro was built with durability in mind - VX patches and stretch-controlling reinforcements provide excellent load control and a longer performance lifespan. By removing the upper stretch-controlling element, the sail now offers a more precise twist under load, which further increases its wind range.
The Blacktip Pro 26/27 is a maneuverable wave sail built for easy, professional-level riding in all conditions. Thanks to increased durability, light handling and Simmer's legendary build quality, it will take your wave sailing to a whole new level.

NEW MATERIAL // VX-Ply
The new VX-Ply significantly reduces sail deformation compared to the previously used Q-Ply material. Vertical stretch has been reduced by more than 20% in high-load areas, and VX-Ply itself is also 30% thicker than Q-Ply, making it much more durable. The result: better responsiveness, a wider wind range and increased durability.
A durable tack corner panel (Foot Panel)
A foot panel made from 4-mil Bi-Ply - light and durable, with a VX-Ply frame at the loose leech for extra stiffness and durability.
Compared to the Team Carbon version, the Blacktip Pro offers:
