The Big Wave Short John is a technical protective layer designed for riders who demand maximum mobility and safety while riding in demanding conditions. It works perfectly as an extra layer under a wetsuit or as a standalone solution on warmer days.

Made from flexible neoprene 1.5 mm thick, it provides high comfort of use and full freedom of movement, without limiting dynamics during surfing, kitesurfing or wingfoiling. The low-profile construction means the product fits the body perfectly and stays practically unnoticeable under a wetsuit.

The protective system, based on multi-layer foam, effectively cushions impacts, increasing safety during falls. What's more, the protective inserts are removable, so you can adjust the level of protection to your needs.

The smooth-textured front panel was designed to provide maximum contact with the board, resulting in better control and feel of the equipment while riding.
