Product description:

For riders looking for powerful freeride performance with more speed, strong pop and long hangtime, the Mode Pro - thanks to a stiff, light N-Weave45 frame and Matrix canopy - has been designed to deliver power efficiently and provide top stability. For the 2026 season we've refined the strut shape, panel layout and wingtip seam technology, and increased the stiffness of the XL-T joint. These changes, combined with UDi carbon reinforcement in the leading edge (LE), translate into an even faster and more direct response. The Mode Pro features an ergonomically shaped strut with our ShiftLock mounting system, a modular rail that lets you freely position ShiftLock carbon handles, a J-Handle or a boom (handles sold separately).

N-Weave 45 Airframe

The N-Weave 45 Airframe is a reinforced construction made from N-Weave 45 material, providing a stiffer and lighter set that holds its shape under load while still delivering very efficient power. A biaxial laminate layer at a 45-degree angle helps control the construction's torsional stiffness. N-Weave45, developed by North, is a low-stretch, high-tensile-strength fiber that reduces geometric compromises in inflatable structures. As a result, the material reduces structural deformation, converting wind energy into more speed, explosive power and hang time, which is ideal for freestyle. The weight savings translate into better performance, more efficient power delivery in light wind and easier wing handling across various conditions. N-Weave45 also features very high resistance to cuts and abrasion. The UPE fibers that make up N-Weave45 are known for their resistance to water, moisture, most chemicals, UV radiation and microorganisms, as well as their durability and strength.
Matrix High-Load N-HTRS Canopy

A strong, low-stretch canopy material designed to withstand the increased loads resulting from the stiff N-Weave45 frame, providing long-lasting shape retention and exceptional durability.
ShiftLock Modular Track Mounting System

The stiff, carbon fiber ShiftLock mast tube or handles (sold separately) react instantly to your input, while soft TPU handle tips help protect you and your board.

Four handle lengths are available: a single 1100 mm tube and 500, 400 and 250 mm handles. ShiftLock is a novel take on the Bolt Rope system used in sailing - the most popular and most durable method of attaching a sail to a mast. We've adapted this system for wing foiling, using a dual-track Bolt Rope.

To prove the system's strength and durability, we ran load tests and two years of on-water testing with no failures or excessive wear. ShiftLock has a breaking strength of over 710 kg. We've also managed to keep the system light. Two 500 mm ShiftLock Carbon handles (with tracks) are lighter than two standard 500 mm wing handles.
True Form Profile

A reduced nose radius on the wing profile improves speed and wind-range performance, and a special filler panel helps the wing maintain a stable shape under load.
A Gentler Dihedral

A lower lift angle provides higher drive, greater stability and better control at higher wind speeds - the faster you fly, the more stable you feel.
Wingtip Seam Protection

The seams at the wingtips have been turned inward, effectively protecting them from chafing and increasing durability.
Stiffer LE & XLT-Joint

A tougher leading-edge construction and a reinforced XL-T joint provide direct power transfer and resistance to deformation even in extreme conditions.
UDi Carbon Technology

A carbon reinforcement technology developed from North Sails' experience - thin, stiff UD fiber tapes run along the entire leading edge, guaranteeing instant response and a better "snapback" effect
Ergonomic Strut Geometry

A segmented strut (rib) lets you hold the wing comfortably in a more relaxed position with two types of handles, reducing fatigue and elbow strain. Works best with the ShiftLock system and the J-Handle
