Starboard Take Off 115L Limited

The Take Off 115L is a large yet relatively sleek foilboard measuring 7'0" x 26" with 115 liters of volume. Its construction was developed to combine stability during starts with fast foil takeoff and good behavior once the board lifts off the water.

Its volume distribution and relatively narrow standing area provide a good feel for the board and make it easier to control while learning. Its longer shape makes it easier to get the board up to speed before takeoff, and the tail shape provides a smooth release from the water.

Starboard rates the 115L version as a model suitable for wingfoilers weighing up to approximately 110 kg, making it a very versatile base for learning and progression. The board also features a reinforced 14-inch US box, compatible with foils from many manufacturers.

AK Tracer 1600

The AK Tracer 1600 is a large front wing with a surface area of 1600 cm², part of the mid-aspect Tracer series. This characteristic combines strong lift with easy, predictable handling.

The wing's large surface area makes it easier to reach the speed needed for foil takeoff, so the rider doesn't need to generate much speed before the board lifts off the water. This is especially important while learning and in lighter wind.

The Tracer uses Carbon Fusion construction, in which the front wing and the front part of the fuselage form an integrated structure. The TaperLock system provides a stiff connection between the components, improving steering precision and energy transfer.

The 6.0 m² version is among the larger Source sizes, which received a very low Aspect Ratio. A shorter span reduces the risk of catching the wing tips on the water, which is especially beneficial while learning and during first turns.
