The Short Throw construction is especially recommended for smaller kites (12m and under), where precise power control and fast access to the trim matter most when riding in strong wind. The shortened throw makes it easier to use the full depower range while keeping a comfortable riding position.

The bar uses a new shaft construction based on the technology used in the Pro versions. Internal fiber reinforcement increases the construction's stiffness by 20% while reducing weight. This makes steering more direct and the kite's reactions more predictable.

The Navigator Short Throw is equipped with the Connect V2 Quick Release safety system, which provides a quick release and easy re-arming of the mechanism. The construction has been refined to limit the risk of accidental release while riding.
