When it comes to standard extensions, we have all experienced unpleasant surprises at some point. They rarely fit the roller arrangement in the sail, most of them require a lot of pulling force and the height adjustment mechanism is usually very cumbersome. Before designing the UNI.XT, we analyzed all these problems in detail and found practical solutions. The strong and super-solid UNI.XT attachment looks like many other standard attachments at first glance, but it is packed with innovations that make it a much better product. The latest version is equipped with a completely new adjustment ring that offers a unique feature: based on the proven SDM adjustment ring, the RDM version ensures for the first time that the aluminum tube no longer touches the mast, which avoids corrosion. No other RDM extension can offer this! To ensure the same durability despite the smaller diameter, a double-walled sandwich construction is used, consisting of an outer 7075 aluminum tube and an inner T8 tube.

NOW COMPATIBLE WITH ALL SAIL BRANDS! POWER.XT 2.0 is equipped with an open stainless steel block that allows loop-loop-go trimming - the fastest and most convenient way to rig a sail! POWER.XT 2.0 is now the first choice even for sails with rollers set transversely (e.g. Loft, Naish, Severne). Their line layout was taken into account during the design. However, this roller arrangement does not allow loop-loop-go rigging, which means that the line must be threaded traditionally.

The iSNAP 2.0 system, based on the original SDM adjustment ring, offers several unique benefits:
1. The extension tube can no longer touch the mast, which prevents corrosion. No other RDM extension can do this!
2. The pins on the ring have a synthetic head that prevents damage to the tube during adjustment.
3. iSNAP 2.0 is the lightest adjustment system in the world. Still, the proven design ensures maximum durability.
Note: RDM iSNAP 2.0 is NOT compatible with older RDM extensions (2019 season and earlier).

DOUBLE FOOT TRIM
30% ENERGY SAVED! In terms of comfort during trimming, the UNI.XT offers much more than existing standard extensions. To ensure the most efficient trimming on the mast, the extension foot has been designed with ergonomics in mind, introducing the DOUBLE.FOOT.TRIM. Thanks to the intelligent positioning of the cleat, for the first time it is now possible to trim on the mast with both feet resting on the extension foot, and thus transfer significantly greater forces, avoiding strain on the lower back. Now you can use the same technique to lower the cart as in rowing, where you naturally also use both feet to gain maximum power by pushing with your feet rather than pulling with your back. This increases power efficiency by about 30% compared to simply pulling with one foot.
