Looking for a little more torque to get out of the water with ease?
Designed to increase thrust at low RPMs, the Three Blade Propeller Hub is an optional upgrade to the Foil Drive Assist PLUS units – a true game-changer for riders pushing the boundaries of body weight, board size, and foil size.
Compared to the standard two-blade system, the NEW three-blade system offers:
- Increased thrust at low RPMs
- Increased torque at low RPMs, which prevents propeller cavitation under heavy loads
- More efficient tracking at the surface when the propellers are out of the water
- A smoother and quieter ride
This system is designed specifically for riders who need more torque at take-off - such as when using boards with low buoyancy, smaller or slimmer foils, or with a heavier rider.
Note:
- It is not recommended to use the three-blade propeller when riding the efoil for extended periods at full throttle, as it will drain the battery faster and may cause the electronics to overheat and the thermal protection mode to activate.
- Not compatible with Foil Drive Assist (basic version) - although mechanically compatible, higher RPMs are required, available only in Assist PLUS version, to obtain the performance boost.
- 3-blade hub must be used with 3 propellers!
For users of existing propellers:
If your blades are damaged, we recommend purchasing a full set with 3 new, balanced blades. Unbalanced blades can cause vibration and damage to the system.
