For 2025 we are introducing a new shape of theReedin KevPro board. The board is now narrower towards the ends, which reduces the pressure on the back leg, improving control in strong winds and powerful riding. This makes it easier to hold an edge, giving you more grip for those huge jumps.

The Reedin KevPro is a board designed for those who like to go fast and want a responsive, forgiving board with great grip. Used by Kevin for its incredible grip, which allows for bigger and better jumps, while offering the smoothest and most controlled landings. You'll be amazed at how easily the board rides through the water's swells, allowing you to charge up and take some of the biggest jumps of your life.

• Adjusted for high speeds
  KevPro is designed for high-speed paddling. Fully loaded and gliding towards the kicker, it stores a huge amount of energy – ready to be released as soon as you press the edge at take-off. It works like an adrenaline machine.
• Fast and dynamic
  Dual carbon stringers make KevPro even more responsive. The board is full of energy and reacts in the blink of an eye.
• Comfortable landings
  What goes up, comes down. Nobody likes painful landings, so we made sure that the KevPro is comfortable during high-speed landings. Additionally, progressive flex provides smoothness and comfort in difficult conditions.

What were your design goals for the KevPro?

The goal was very simple: create the best board for Kevin. To reach his full potential, Kevin needs a board that is as forgiving and easy to handle as possible so he can focus on the ride and not have to think about controlling the board. It also needs to provide exceptional grip so Kevin can load the board as hard as possible when launching into huge jumps. Finally, the board needs to provide the smoothest landings possible so Kevin can get high marks for his tricks and get ready for the next jump as quickly as possible.

Can you describe the shape of the board and how you achieved these goals?

The channels on the bottom of the board are designed to be more pronounced at the ends of the board, where the water flows more parallel to the board, providing traction without slowing you down. The center of the board has minimal bottom shaping, allowing the water to flow as quickly as possible. The edge of the board has been equipped with a channel that acts as a central fin, providing grip between the feet without having to lean on the back leg. Thanks to two carbon stringers, the KevPro has a fast and dynamic flex, which provides a positive experience when riding at high speed. The ends of the board have been designed in a "double swallow" shape. This design allows you to keep the same edge length while reducing the surface area, which allows you to push the board deeper into the water and provides even better grip when loading jumps.
