The Naish Global 2024 windsurf board quickly starts planing and reaches high speed, which translates into great performance when jumping. Its precise maneuverability allows for dynamic turns from both the back and front foot, making it extremely versatile. It works best in side-onshore and onshore conditions, but thanks to its wide range of applications it also provides an excellent side-shore experience..

The Naish Global 2024 board has a slightly wider bow and tail compared to the Ho‘okipa Quad, which provides additional stability and better planing. The V-bottom shape starts with a slight V in the bow, transitions to a V with a slight double concave in the middle, and then a clean V at the tail. The rocker line has been optimized for quick planing and lightning-fast acceleration. Combined with the bottom shape, the board offers maneuverability comparable to models designed for side-shore conditions. The edges of the board have a slight rounding in the nose and mid section, transitioning into a sharper line just behind the front foot, which provides quick planing and dynamic acceleration.

Despite its relatively narrow width, the Global Quad is well balanced on the water. At the first gust it starts quickly, combining stability with a dynamic character and reaching a high top speed. This combination makes it great for finding the right jump ramps. In stern turns the board surprises with a tight radius, making it ideal for precise maneuvers on the wave.

When riding the wave the Global Quad remains well balanced - it allows tight turns at lower speeds, but also copes with longer arcs, maintaining control right up to the wave peak. Only in very strong winds and high speeds does maneuverability become more limited, which can make tight cutbacks and 360s difficult.

Summary:
Naish Global Quad is a versatile wave board, combining great planing properties, control and agility. It will work perfectly on the North Sea, Baltic Sea, as well as in the rough conditions of the Ijsselmeer or on powerful ocean waves. For 95% of windsurfers it will be a better choice than the more radical but demanding Ho‘okipa Quad.
