Thanks to the modernization of machines, we were able to develop a new look for our masts and introduce new technologies in structures. We have revised the sizes
and models for 2021 according to the new needs of windsurfing and wind-foiling.

Most masts may look the same, but they are often manufactured by different manufacturers using different machines, materials, conditions
and technologies. Even if the curvature or Imcs number may be the same, the performance after selecting the sail will be different. Being the core of a windsurfing sail, it is
a very important piece of equipment. Just like a tailored suit. Large 9m slalom sails have different characteristics and performance than 5m slalom sails, which are used in strong winds. The curvature and stiffness of the mast must be selected accordingly. Most masts on the market are constant curvature masts, but this is just a general term to explain the characteristics. The values ​​of the percentages of curvature of the lower and upper parts of the mast are important, taking into account the materials, shapes and reflex.
These are values ​​that are very different in each brand of sail and are often kept secret. Therefore the best efficiency is achieved with an integrated rig.

SDM-S: STANDARD DIAMETER-SONIC

We have added 'S' for sonic to our SDM masts because there is a new design at the top of the mast that increases the sail reflex, giving more control and stability. The masts are available in K100, K80 and K60 to cover 3 % carbon gradients. You will discover more about them in the dedicated sections. K100 will introduce 520, 550 and 570 masts to Formula foil racing.

100% CARBON MAST

K100 CARBON MAST: The best possible performance for your sail. Great response to pumping, acceleration, light feel and absorption of the most difficult conditions for optimal comfort and control. 'S' for sonic reflex. A layer of carbon has been added to the mast tip. This increases the reflex at the top of the sail. The construction consists of 3 layers of carbon material. 2 reinforcing sections of one-way glass have been added to the mast to make sure that even in harsh conditions the mast is protected from breaking. When gusts hit the sail, the mast helps to convert this power into speed and keep the sail light while maintaining full control.

WHY THIS MAST: Without any limitations in its performance. Racing, best reflex and low weight. If you choose this mast, it's because you want to dominate. Special care should be taken as the mast has only minimal protection, giving the carbon the best possible performance.
