Restube buoys in a pouch on the belt
Restube buoys fit in a small, convenient pouch, attached to the belt. They inflate pneumatically, thanks to the compression of the gas in the cartridge. The CO2 automatically inflates the buoy, after pulling the handle, in a fraction of a second. Placing the Restube buoy on the belt is an ideal solution for anyone practicing water sports. With the reusable Restube buoy, we can surf, kitesurf, dive, sail and enjoy any activity in the water without any worries. Nothing restricts movement, does not get tangled and does not slow down swimming. Excellent belaying is at your fingertips if necessary hand.
When to use Restube inflatable safety buoys?
If you need safety Restube buoys allow you to safely reach the shore or calmly wait for help. They fulfill their role in both salt and fresh water. In emergency situations, if a muscle cramps, a strong current prevents you from reaching your destination, or simply to feel better, it is worth having safety with you. In the event of a water equipment failure, Restube inflatable buoys can save lives. The buoy is permanently connected to the strap. Just reach for the pin and release the CO2 cartridge. Once inflated, the buoy has a buoyancy of 75 N (7.0 kg), which is enough to keep the head of any swimmer on the water surface.
How to inflate swimming safety buoys?
Restube buoys are very easy to use. Pulling the trigger will automatically fill the buoy with gas from a 16-gram CO2 cartridge. Inflation takes a fraction of a second. By grabbing the buoy with your hands, you will keep your head on the water surface. You can safely catch your breath, rest and swim to shore or wait for help. Restube buoys can also be filled by mouth through the drain-inlet valve. This valve is used to release CO2 or air (you have to press the valve with an inverted cork). After installing a new CO2 cartridge, rolling it up and putting it away in a bag, the swimming safety buoys are ready for reuse. Restube buoys are made of durable material approved for the production of life jackets.
Pneumatic, safety buoys Restube – comfort and safety
During a holiday by the water, it is worth having a light safety buoy, placed in a pouch on the belt, with you. The buoy is permanently connected to the belt fastened with a "click" buckle. Increases the comfort of spending time in the water and confidence in your swimming skills.

Air information
Original RESTUBE CO2 cartridges contain 16 g of CO2 under pressure and are treated as hazardous materials in air transport.
However, according to IATA, up to 4 CO2 cartridges can be carried on board the aircraft.
Ultimately, it is the airline and the pilot who make the final decision as to whether such cartridges can be carried on board the aircraft. If the cartridge is not installed, there are no special transport requirements or restrictions for RESTUBE.
According to IATA/LBA, up to 4 x 16g CO2 cartridges may be carried on board an aircraft:
- in hand luggage
- in checked luggage
- for the traveler
Although these are official regulations, not all ground personnel are aware of them. To avoid any potential problems, we have prepared this instruction for those bringing RESTUBE cartridges on board an aircraft. Please follow our recommendations and you will avoid any potential problems.
- Report to the airline before departure
Report RESTUBE and the number of CO2 cartridges to the airline (by phone). You should do this immediately after booking or at least 48 hours before departure. Ask the airline to confirm your registration (by email/in writing), and take it with you. - Carry RESTUBE and CO2 cartridges separately
Carry the flap of the bag carefully and remove the buoy. Unscrew the CO2 cartridge from the RESTUBE mechanism. - Keep the CO2 cartridges with this information in a separate bag.
