The next generation of racing

Gen-R is a key model for surf racing and all-round paddling. The slightly recessed deck has been optimized to provide excellent stability, while also being easy to handle when taking off from the beach and returning to the board. The lower gunwale height and reduced bow thickness are highly desirable features (especially by our lighter competitors) for technical racing, buoy tacks and easy handling in difficult conditions.

Gen-R is a great combination of a Sprint model for flat water and an All Star model for open ocean. In addition, young riders will love this board for its speed and ease of use.

SOLID ACCELERATION

The low rocker and narrow nose help increase acceleration and overall performance on flat surfaces. This acceleration is essential for technical races, beach starts and explosive sprints around buoy turns.

SOLID TURN AND TAIL STABILITY

The wider tail outline combined with the flat deck makes moving around the board and turning very comfortable and predictable.

SLICING NOSE

The narrow contour at the tip of the nose is designed for efficient planing on flat water as well as ocean bumps. The lower nose rocker has the same genetics as the Sprint model, extending the waterline for faster acceleration and longer planing. Although the low nose rocker helps with early bump detection, the rider does need to step back when paddling over bumps.

OPTIMIZED NOSE VOLUME

The nose volume is designed for medium ocean waves and performance in technical racing, surfing and flat water. It is about 4 cm thinner than the All Star model.

SLIGHTLY RECESSED DECK

The deck has been designed with a slightly lowered surface ensuring stability. At the same time, the side walls are low, making starting from the beach and returning to the board much easier.

ROUND SIDES

Soft, round sides run the entire length of the length of the board. This allows the board to stay balanced on the chop and be predictable when surfing and downwind. The round sides are wide, providing stability and balance.

FLAT BOTTOM

The best bottom shape in a variety of conditions, the flat bottom is fast, from surfing to sprints. The flat bottom is very predictable, which allows you to control it both on flat water and in ocean waves.

WIDE TAIL

It has a wide tail with sharp edge. Turning on this model is very easy, and the wide tail also provides excellent control while surfing.

SINGLE DRAIN HOLE

A single center drain hole allows for full drainage of water from the partially sunken deck. Although there is almost no water on the deck when rowing, the single center drain hole drains excess water from the deck. The recessed carbon siphon minimizes drag while allowing water to drain freely.

MULTIPLE HANDLES

The Gen-R is a racing specialist technical and beach. The handles are modular thanks to our screw-in system, which allows for precise adjustment of the handle.

10" FIN BOX

The Gen-R is our first race model to feature a 10-inch fin box, which allows for precise fin positioning. We've given the Gen-R a larger box to provide adjustability. Short-course racing will benefit from a fin that's more forward for quick turns, while longer races will require a fin that's more swept back.

PREPREG CARBON FIBER FIN

Pre-impregnated 3k biax carbon is an ultra-light weave that provides super stiffness throughout the fin. The trailing edge is an ultra-sharp 0.4mm for pure hydrodynamics. The new range of fins delivers speed and efficiency like never before.

BOARD SOCK

Reduces paper waste while protecting your board from dust, scratches and UV damage. Made of stretchable polyester, it fits a variety of board shapes. Ensure optimal board maintenance with the iconic blue Board Sock with secure drawstring closure.

LOWEST WEIGHT, DURABILITY, FLEX CONTROL

Super lightweight biaxial carbon is laminated into the deck and throughout the bottom.
In turn, stronger, 150g biaxial carbon wraps the bow and gunwale, providing the best strength-to-flex ratio.
High density PVC is used in the standing area and throughout the bottom, maximizing strength and long-term durability.
