Opis
North Seek Air 132L + Sonar Prime 2400 + Nova 6.2 Wing Set - stability, an easy start and fast progress
A complete North wingfoil set prepared for learning wingfoiling, easily getting up on the foil and further progress.
The combination of the large, stable North Seek Air 132L board, the easy and predictable North Sonar Prime 2400 foil and the powerful, versatile North Nova 6.2 m2 wing forms a configuration focused primarily on comfort, stability and ease of use.
The board's high volume provides adequate stability during first attempts, while the 2400 cm2 front wing generates a lot of lift already at low speed. This makes starting to fly on the foil easier and requires less speed than with smaller wings.
What's included in the set?
-
The North Seek Air 132L - a wingfoil board
-
the North Sonar Prime 2400 - a complete foil system with an 80cm mast
-
the North Nova 6.2 m2 - a wing
-
foil mounting components
-
accessories needed to get the set ready to sail
The North Seek Air 132L
The Seek Air 132L is an inflatable, high-volume wingfoil board, designed primarily for stability and ease of transport.
132 liters provide a large buoyancy margin, making the board very stable while learning in both the kneeling and standing positions. This is especially important for people who are still learning their balance on the board while also controlling the wing.
The large platform also makes it easier to get back on the board after a fall and prepare for another start.
An inflatable construction
The Seek Air's biggest advantage is the ability to easily transport and store it.
Once deflated, the board can be rolled up and transported in a much smaller bag than a classic hardboard. This makes it very practical for travel, trips to the sea or a lake.
At the same time, the construction was prepared to work with a foil system, so once inflated the board can be used both for learning and for further skill development.
The North Sonar Prime 2400
The most important component of the set in terms of ease of getting up on the foil is the North Sonar Prime 2400.
The front wing with a surface area of 2400 cm2 provides a very high amount of lift at low speeds. This means the foil starts generating lift quickly and lets you start flying without needing to reach a high speed.
The Sonar Prime series was developed as an easier and more accessible version of the Sonar system, designed among other things for learning and progression. The Prime front wings are made from pre-preg E-Glass and designed using the same molds as the corresponding carbon wings, retaining high performance with greater resistance to damage.
Why 2400 cm2?
Such a large wing is especially beneficial for a beginner rider.
A large surface area means:
-
easy lift generation,
-
a low threshold for getting up on the foil,
-
calm behavior at low speeds,
-
greater stability,
-
easier maintaining of height above the water,
-
the ability to start learning in lighter wind.
Compared to smaller wings, the 2400 will be less focused on maximum speed, but definitely more forgiving during learning.
The foil's stable and predictable character
The Sonar Prime uses a mid-aspect front wing, whose characteristics were optimized for easy progression.
The system provides stability across a wide speed range, controlled lift and a low stall speed. This makes the foil more predictable during first flights and means it doesn't react abruptly to small errors in board positioning.
The Sonar system's modular construction also lets you later swap the front wing for a smaller one, once the rider starts needing more speed and better maneuverability.
The North Nova 6.2 m2
The North Nova 6.2 m2 wing is a very good complement to the large board and the 2400 cm2 front wing.
The 6.2 m2 size provides an adequate amount of power to get riding in lighter and moderate wind. This is especially important for a beginner rider who doesn't yet have experience efficiently using wind energy.
The Nova offers a stable profile and predictable behavior, making it easier to focus on learning to handle the board and work the foil.
How does this set behave on the water?
The whole configuration was put together for maximum ease of learning.
First, the 132-liter board provides a stable platform. Then the Nova 6.2 provides adequate power to get the set going, and the large Sonar Prime 2400 quickly generates lift.
As a result, the rider doesn't need to reach a high speed to start flying.
This is especially beneficial during first sessions, when most of your energy goes into maintaining balance, controlling the wing and correctly positioning the board.
Key advantages of the set
-
132 liters of buoyancy - very high stability
-
an inflatable board construction - easy transport and storage
-
Sonar Prime 2400 cm2 - very early lift generation
-
a low stall speed
-
stable and predictable foil behavior
-
North Nova 6.2 m2 - a large amount of power
-
a very good set for first flights
-
a lot of potential for learning and progression
-
the modular Sonar system letting you later upgrade the set
Who is it for?
This set will work especially well for:
-
people starting to learn wingfoiling,
-
people who need a very stable board,
-
heavier beginner riders,
-
people riding in lighter wind,
-
people who value easy equipment transport,
-
people who want to start learning on a large, stable foil,
-
schools and instructors looking for an easy training set.
What rider weight is it for?
132 liters gives a very large buoyancy margin, so the set can also be used by heavier beginner riders.
At the same time, when choosing for a specific user, you need to consider not just weight, but also skill level and typical wind conditions.
The large 2400 cm2 foil works especially well when the priority is an easy foil start rather than maximum speed.
The possibility of upgrading later
One of this set's biggest advantages is the modularity of the North Sonar system.
Once the rider masters the basics and starts needing more speed, they can primarily change the front wing for a smaller one, while keeping the rest of the foil's components.
The Prime system is compatible with other North Sonar components, so buying this set doesn't have to mean replacing the whole foil as your skills develop.

The North Seek Air 132L + Sonar Prime 2400 + Nova 6.2 - a set built for learning
This is a configuration where ease and stability matter more than maximum performance.
The large Seek Air 132L gives a very stable platform, the Nova 6.2 provides an adequate amount of power, and the huge Sonar Prime 2400 front wing lets you get up on the foil at a low speed.
This makes it a set that works especially well for someone starting out in wingfoiling and wanting to move from first attempts to independent flight as quickly as possible.
At the same time, the modular Sonar system lets you later upgrade the equipment along with your skills - primarily by swapping the front wing for a smaller, faster model.
