SX10 masts deliver the best performance with the fastest possible response, giving sails turbocharged acceleration, an extremely wide wind range and light handling.

SX10 stands for 100% carbon. They are designed with the highest quality, high tensile strength pre-preg carbon. This technology provides optimal control of resin content and distribution throughout the laminate. The carbon fiber structure includes internal layers of a 45 degree carbon weave that control torsion and quick reflex response. The outer carbon layer is oriented 90 degrees for the highest possible strength.

The SX10 mast features a CC bend profile, but the mast base is stiffer than the top. This provides optimal sail dynamics, allowing the bottom of the sail to generate power and the top of the rig to release it quickly. The SDM and RDM bend profiles are compatible with each other, but RDMs are more durable, so they are better suited to severe wave conditions. SDMs provide faster reflex response, better stability and faster acceleration, making them more suitable for flat water sailing.
