The exciting new 2023 Carves boards deliver super fast, effortless planing, auto-turning and controlled riding
in all conditions. We've never felt so fulfilled in a board.

Each board is individually designed for its intended conditions and skill level. In the larger sizes, the long flat bottom part allows for very easy
and smooth gliding, which will allow you to easily insert your feet into the footstraps.

The medium sizes glide like small boards, but when changing position after a gybe and throwing the sail you get the impression that it is a bigger board, thanks to the combination of thinner rails at the stern
and thicker ones at the front.

The small sizes provide a truly sporty feel with a higher top speed of the board and the extra control you will need for confident windsurfing in strong winds.

Control in Stormy Conditions

Optional stance on the board and center position of the rear footstrap give more control
for those who ride in storms.

Cutways

Inspired by our iSonic racing line, the new dual tail cutouts
improve planing and acceleration.

Extended rocker

Easy glide without any effort. Extending the flat tail rocker section forward on the Carves allows for
easier acceleration to a more natural planing threshold while maintaining planing through
wind holes and reducing the critical need to trim the board.

Water drop tail

The carefully designed shape of the bottom at the stern accelerates entry into planing while reducing
resistance at higher final speeds.

Drake Freeride Fin

Drake Freeride fin for excellent control. Combining smooth, natural turns with straight-line performance and confidence, each Carve fin is carefully crafted and optimized to
increase excitement and response.

Locked-down and comfortable

The Drake Slick Footstraps are made from FSC certified, sustainably sourced, plant-based
Yulex foam. With 85% natural rubber, CO² emitted during the manufacturing process is reduced by
80%. The remaining 15% synthetic neoprene is retained for added UV resistance.
Carefully sourced from the smoothest fabric for a comfortable feel. Underfoot, 10mm thick footpads with a diamond groove pattern
will provide the necessary grip and comfort for longer sessions while being
resistant to wear and tear.

would combine four key factors: Performance, Durability, Price and Low Environmental Impact.
The result is a great combination, fulfilling all four criteria, with a direct,
responsive feel on the water and no compromise on riding comfort.
