iSONIC in detail

This year we continue to introduce the new iSonic model in 4 new sizes: 60, 63, 77
and 83. Our new iSonics fly over the water with unprecedented control and confidence.
They are calm and composed in difficult conditions, accelerating relentlessly and freely without jerking, while the increased
jibe ability provides even greater overtaking potential in key moments of the turn. The improved profile is much wider (20cm from the stern), while maintaining the original tuck line on the cut-outs. The additional downforce on the fin improves the range of light wind performance, while
behind the fin we have added arrow-shaped cut-aways and moved the rear straps back. Finally, we optimized the position of the mast rail even further back. These changes make a significant difference on the water, especially when racing at full power.

Arrow Cut Aways

Our new Arrow Cut Away design is available in models 67, 73 and 85.
It's a diagonal cutout behind the fin that gives you super free play.
Do you remember how the board behaves in gusts? This feeling is now history.

Wider Stern

The new shapes have a wider stern while maintaining the same tuck cut away lines.
Result: More power for light winds and overtaking maneuvers.
Greater control in difficult conditions

Footstraps

Rear footstraps are shifted further back.
This makes the surface of the board in contact with the water smaller,
which increases the maximum speed.

Mast rail moved back

Along with the rear footstraps, we've moved the mast rail further back,
making the board ride even more freely.

Double Step Cutaways to accelerate planing and increase speeds.

Drake slick footstraps

Drake Slick footstraps are made from FSC-certified, sustainably sourced and plant-based Yulex foam.
With 85% natural rubber, CO² emissions during the production process are reduced by 80%.
The remaining 15% synthetic neoprene is retained for increased UV resistance.
Carefully sourced with the smoothest fabric for a comfortable feel.

CARBON SANDWICH

Ultra-light weight with
The bottom is constructed from full unidirectional T700 flat carbon for maximum stiffness,
while the deck is 60% carbon, alternating unidirectional and biaxial carbon layers for optimized flex.
Composite sandwich layers include the use of ultra high density PET and PVC foam.
