The 75, 79, 85 and 89 models feature a unique focus on aerodynamics and are optimized for high speeds with small, low-drag foil wings. The refined bow rockers are significantly
lower to reduce lift and drag at high speeds, while a significant increase in forward lean
avoids catapulting on unwanted water contact. Further aerodynamic features include an aerodynamically
convex deck and a smooth stern exit to minimize drag at high speeds.

X-15 in detail

The original waterdrop cut-away Starboard accelerates water flow along the tuck line and allows you to gain take-off speed with minimal sail effort. With significantly reduced tail volume and progressive tail kick, you don't have to push hard on the tail to
get airborne. This concept is even more unique because it allows you to maintain a comfortable, almost parallel stance far outboard, with more leverage on the foil. The 2024 models gain even more stability thanks to optimized aerodynamic airflow, with less drag than the 2023 model. Taking it further, we have developed a lighter Carbon Reflex technology without compromising on strength.

Aero Design

The side cut-out concept has been maximally developed to gain extra speed in buoyancy mode,
to enter levitation earlier; you can take off even before reaching planing speed. The board has a teardrop-shaped
profile from bow to stern, which reduces drag and increases aerodynamic efficiency.
As a result, the board is very "slippery" and stable in the air.

Convex nose

The flat shape of the board with a slight convexity provides the highest efficiency. The airflow over the board is stable and creates
minimal resistance, maximizing the speed potential. The vee at the bottom of the bow prevents catapults when landing at full speed.

Deep cutaways

The cutaways have been enlarged to reduce drag during takeoff and speed up the transition to flight mode by rapidly reducing the contact area as speed increases.

Drake Slik Footstraps

Drake Footstraps are made from FSC-certified, sustainably sourced,
plant-based Yulex foam. Thanks to the 85% natural rubber content, CO² emissions
during the production process are reduced by 80%. The remaining 15% of the synthetic neoprene is
retained for increased UV resistance.

Ultra Thin Pads

When foiling there is less shock to absorb, so we designed extra thin
pads for extra control and kept the diamond grooves for perfect grip.
