Set the code back to what it was before. The factory-set code is 0-0-0-0. Open the padlock.
Remove the rubber pin from the small metal lever on the inside, next to the combination lock.
Move the lever to the right and up. Make sure the lever remains in the upper right corner.
Set a new combination of numbers on the combination lock.
Move the lever back down and to the left. The new combination has been set.
