The AK Compact board has been fully optimized for wingboarding, with a large volume and low weight. Ideal for intermediate to advanced wingboarders in lighter wind conditions, the stable and balanced platform creates a board that is easy to throw during jumps and progressive maneuvers. The high apex rail gives the feeling of a narrow board, and the extra width provides stability on the water.,

GORE Auto Vent

GORE Auto Vents ensure tightness and breathability, thanks to the membrane developed by GORE. The membrane has a microporous structure that allows air to flow freely, equalizing pressure and dissipating moisture before problems occur.

KICK TAIL

The lower kick tail allows the rider to tilt the board up, which helps lift the nose and free it from the water. This also reduces the stern touching the water when pumping and turning.

BOTTOM SHAPE

The rounded V-shape on the bow prevents the bow from jamming when falling, so you don't lose speed. The middle section transitions into a single concave profile that provides maximum cruising speed. The larger models have a longer release edge that optimizes early launch at slower speeds.

CONCAVE DECK

The concave deck makes the board much more stable and comfortable when paddling. This allows you to push your chest forward to generate speed when pumping into the waves, while maintaining the stability of the board. With extra volume on the edges, you feel more connected to the board, which provides stability.

WIDE NOSE

For pure performance, the AK Compact is as short as possible, with a wide nose that maintains volume up front and parallel edges. This provides directional stability at low and high speeds, and a more even distribution of volume between the bow and stern.

HIGH APEX RAIL

The high apex combines the stability of a wider board with the ability to turn more aggressively, like a board that's 4 inches narrower. These features, combined with a hard release edge at the stern and a soft bow, provide intuitive footwork while swimming. This unique combination makes the AK Compact easier to use in lighter winds without sacrificing performance when you're flying on the foil.

THICK PROFILE

Surprisingly high buoyancy in such a short length reduces the weight of the board, making it easy to pump and turn. The volume is optimized for stability and the easiest entry into waves relative to the size of the board.
