What's new on the 2025 Wingboard?

A longer, narrower nose helps you launch faster and reduces the risk of hooking during turns. The deep “V” shape and larger nose rocker make landings more forgiving. The improved, tapered cutaway shape extends the rocker, allowing for earlier planing and faster take-off on the foil.

Gravity Control System – A Revolution in Foilboarding

Starboard introduced the gravity control system in 1994, which is now used in windsurfing and paddleboarding. Full control is achieved by keeping your feet as close to the water as possible. First introduced in 1999, the Cutaway has been further developed into the wing systems used in iQFoiL boards, allowing wide tails to lift off the water more easily and land more smoothly.

The compact design provides the best connection to the foil, while offering stability and balance on the water. This is a breakthrough solution in the industry that allows for even faster progress in wingfoiling.

1. Stability during buoyancy cruising
The wingboard provides maximum balance on the water thanks to the large buoyancy in the stern, bow and sides. The balanced volume distributed further away from the feet increases stability through the buoyancy lever effect. The rounded sides on the deck make the board comfortable when kneeling, making it easier to launch and maneuver.

2. Unmatched flight control and stability
The reduced thickness in the standing area brings your feet closer to the foil, providing a better feel and precise control, similar to a thin surfboard.

9. Side Channels
Drains water from the deck as the board accelerates, improving stability and control.

10. Extra volume in the stern
The stern area has gained extra volume just behind the rear foot, and the sides of the stern have been carefully rounded, which provides smooth airflow at higher speeds, guaranteeing a stable and smooth flight.

11. Foil Position
The cutout in the stern allows you to move the foil forward, reducing the surface area of the board in front of you and giving it a more agile feel, making it easier to maneuver.

12. Strap personalization options
Multiple strap positions allow you to choose between wider or narrower settings. Larger boards have handles angled inward for better balance, while smaller boards have outward angles for greater agility.
